When you rack up a whole lotta mileage in the course of a typical work week, and never leave home without your camera equipment, you'll sometimes come across beautiful sights which clearly define the reasons why so many of us are proud to call Northeastern Ontario home. One of those scenarios jumped out at me Friday, June 16th on a trip north along Hwy 655 from Timmins to Cochrane. The trackage you see actually belongs to Falconbridge's Kidd Creek Mine. The brightness of the setting sun was filtered slightly thanks to a mammoth thunderstorm which pounded Timmins a few hours earlier. Combine the two, and here's what you get.
