December 28th's "Pic of the Day" comes from Cochrane Yard as this morning's 421 Little Bear rounds up the 39 loads and 1 empty which will be tacked onto the coach consist already spotted on the platform. What you see here is one of those 39 loads. This is a dump box from one of 6 Caterpillar 777D 200 ton rock trucks which were shipped out of Cochrane December 18th (See a photo of them                   ). Two of these dump boxes made the northbound trip this morning aboard TTX heavy duty drop deck flat cars which entered the ONR at Hearst. Just to show the mammoth size of these things, 421 Crewmember Tom (about 5' 9" tall) hops aboard the flat car for a comemorative photo.
