Today, November 15th, we bid a fond farewell to our Director of Passenger Rail Services and Good Friend Gord Ryan who will be leaving us today and returning to his home and family in Brampton. Gord will be able to spend some quality time with his family now rather than taking the over 800 mile round trip on weekends. Although Gord will no longer be here, his legacy will live on through Cochrane Yard's marble quartzite polar bear statues which were obtained through ONR's Marketting Department (nicknamed "Gordobears"), as a former Cochrane Board of Trade President, a former member of the Lady Minto Hospital Board, and with the 2003 acquired ex-BC Rail Dinner Train equipment (nicknamed "Gordodomes"). We wish you the best, "Gordo".
