Mark July 6th on your calendar as the day the "2200" series GP40-2 graduated from "trailing" to "lead" position as 2201 (the first GP40-2 to recieve the necessary equipment to run "lead") pulled the Northlander from North Bay to Cochrane. This photo was snapped July 7th at Cochrane as 2201 takes on the lead position on that morning's 313 to Kapuskasing.
