Operations at Cochrane Yard came to a grinding halt momentarily on the afternoon of May 24th as 5 cars  loaded with concentrate weighing in at 100 tons a piece wound up on the ground while arriving on the afternoon's 514 from Kapuskasing. Seen here are the first 3 cars of the derailment which sustained the most damage. The derailment tore up the Yard's Mainline & "CN Side" switches leaving the "Center Lead" and "Ice House" tracks untouched which allowed the day's train movements and switching operations to continue. Thankfully there were no injuries in the mishap.
