We're at Cochrane Station April 24th as this morning's 422 "Northlander" gets a final inspection by Shops' Car Man Dave before embarking on the train's last 6:05 am scheduled departure. As of Monday, April 25th the southbound Northlander will be departing Cochrane at 8 am. The set we see here will be overnighting at VIA's Toronto Maintenance Centre departing Union Station northbound April 25th at her new scheduled time of 8:55 am.

April 24th also marks the first day Ontario Northland Crews will be operating the Northlander for the entire trip taking over for CN Crews south of North Bay.
