FEATURED "PIC OF THE DAY" DECEMBER 12, 2004
It looked as if ONR sold some rock but I heard later that I was mistaken. December 12th's "Pic of the Day" was captured on the 10th as a line of special guests roll into Cochrane Yard via 514 entering the ONR system from CN at Hearst. This particular string of open top hoppers (approximately 15 in all) carried IC, SSAM, & WC numbering. Some of these hoppers (such as this one) proudly displayed their Burlington Northern heritage. These hoppers, along with hoppers already at Englehart, will be heading to the old Sherman Mine Spur (off of the Temagami Subdivision) for loading of old stockpiled pellets ( I believe they were called "Bentonite Pellets") from the shut down Mine.
