FEATURED "PIC OF THE DAY" NOVEMBER 29, 2004
Today's second photo of a two photo "Pic of the Day" features a close look at a derailed 1802 which jumped the rails at Cochrane's 4th street crossing while departing town with the morning's northbound Little Bear November 29th. With 421's train safely pulled back into the Yard by GP38-2 1809, the locomotive is then sent to provide some horsepower to try to rerail 1802. The 3rd locomotive seen here is 1809. Thankfully there were no injuries in the derailment. 1802 was successfully rerailed by 1600 with the Little Bear finally on it's way north by 1840.
