Today's "Pic of the Day" comes from a chilly Moosonee January 2007 as the Crew of this morning's southbound 622 Little Bear get an opportunity to pose with the famed Rocket Richard Trophy. This trophy is awarded to the NHL player who scores the most goals in a regular season. Jonathon Cheechoo, who reigns from Moose Factory and plays for the San Jose Sharks, was the recipient of the trophy for the 2005-2006 Season. The trophy and it's caretaker, Phil Pritchard who is the Vice President of the Resource Centre and Curator of the Hockey Hall of Fame (Also the guy we all see taking care of the Stanley Cup), visited Moose Factory to take part in a documentary being made about the local NHL Celebrity.
