Our second photo features one of our modes of transportation required to get to Gardiner from Cochrane. This is a cable ferry, called the Cassiopeia IV, which operates across this 750' stretch of the Abitibi River 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for around 9 months of the year. She's dry docked and replaced by an ice bridge during the winter months.
