An entertaining look at life along the Ontario Northland thanks to the kind folks who donate great footage.

Here's a pretty cool video from Iroquois Falls' own Joey Lemieux. This is the southbound Northlander at Porquis captured on April 2009. Great job Joey!

Here's a video contribution from our very own Joey. He braved to cold and blowing snow to catch a northbound 421 racing through Mile 5 enroute to Moosonee.

A brand new video from Joey Lemieux! This time he chases northbound Work Train 999 November 9th through the Iroquois Falls-Matheson area. Some of Joey's Best Work!

Joey's at it again! This time he catches Work CP 3060 running through "Testing Mode" on the Ramore Subdivision, the highballing it up the Devonshire through Nellie Lake! Great work Joey!

Another great video from Joey Lemieux! He's back at Nellie Lake on the Devonshire Subdivision to catch southbound 422 with GP38-2 1805 at the point!

Finally, a trip west to the 10 mph limits of the Kapuskasing sub. Chasing trains on this stretch requires crazy amounts of patience, waiting for hours on end is frequent. The track is in horrible shape and will only get worse. But, the trip was completely worth it thanks to the great crews who put on brilliant horn displays and friendliness as well as some epic power. Let me explain these moves.

First, we catch freight 313 at Jaksonboro, mile 26. It takes 2 hours to get here by train. An hour later, 313 rolls through Fauquier. We now drive west of Kap. to meet up with 516. After this scene, the trains exchange freight and lift loads from Kap. We chase 515 west of Kap. and then return east to complete our chase by catching 1603 in the lead twice.

A video contribution from Joey Lemieux. A heavy snowfall over the weekend left some nice drifts as well as walls of snow at every level crossing on the Ramore sub, making for some classic Northern Ontario winter footage.

Powering today's short 207 is SD40-2 1735

A contribution by Joey Lemieux. Not a bad catch for my first upload in 4 months...SD75i 2102 and GP38-2 1802 struggle in notch 8 as they blast their way up to Cochrane hauling a massive freight 213. Because of the cancellation of the Northlander, snow accumulates in huge amounts before any trains come by, making for some unreal shots.

Ontario Northland is a company that consists of more than 1000 employees working to better northeastern Ontario by providing transportation and telecommunications solutions.

This is a short video explaining who we are and what we do.

We've been online for 10 years. A 10 years that can only be described as one of the best experiences I've had. There are hundreds of people who deserve a special Thanks, and this video is for all of you. It's hard to put the last 10 years into words, so let's have Bon Jovi do it... Here's to all of you...and again, Thank You.
