FEATURED "PIC OF THE DAY" AUGUST 4, 2012
I met this fella just a few years after he began his railroading career with Ontario Northland back in 1977, and he has been considered a great friend ever since. Today at Kidd (mile 104 of the Ramore subdivision) was indeed a special day as Conductor Trevor Blackburn wraps up and retires after a 35 year career when his train (308 in the background) arrives in Englehart this afternoon. I wish him the best as he moves on from his railroading career and is able to devote all of his time to his two loves, his family, and farming. Congratulations Trevor, this place won't be the same without you. Thanks for everything.
