FEATURED "PIC OF THE DAY" DECEMBER 2, 2011

It's -20 Celsius and with that bone chilling temperature drop comes a 20 minute delay at Cochrane for 421 due to a compressor kicking off every time a toilet flushed moments before the 0900 scheduled departure, which was repaired by Shops Staff. Once departing, the previous issue is followed by the trailing unit mysteriously not loading because of a bad m.u. cable which was addressed and fixed on route. Although this wasn't the smoothest departure for your typical 421 Polar Bear, Engineman Dale still gives a big enthusiastic wave as the northbound train races through Mile 5 of the Island Falls Subdivision December 2nd. Welcome to winter railroading.
