FEATURED "PIC OF THE DAY" JULY 8, 2011
Sometimes in today's fast paced, highly technological world of railroading, things have to come to an abrupt halt in order to maintain some of history's 'overlooked' equipment. Here's a classic case in point in the form of a 3000 series airdump at Cochrane Shops' Rip Track on July 7th. Thanks to good friend and Car Man Darin Axcell who captured this photo of the changing out of a plain bearing wheel which you practically never see in today's working environment. As you can see, the truck is actually in pieces in order to peform this required change out. Thanks for the contribution Darin!
