This is an August 2005 track side view of what was once
considered one of ONR's most modern stations located in the town of
New Liskeard (Mile 112.8 on the Temagami Subdivision). What made
this building so appealling, was that all of the ONR's needs were
met without the overhead required to maintain and run huge,
cathedral-like stations such as Cochrane, Englehart, etc. As you can
see on the left, there's your Baggage Room. Next to that was your
Operator's office space (these folks are called CSSA's now). Next to
that is your waiting area and washrooms. And as you can see on the
right, a weather-proof canopy to handle ONR's motor coach services.
That tank car you see is an unloading facility for Eaglebrook Inc.
