September 2003 at Cochrane Yard. It's time for a major update to highly travelled rail at Cochrane Yard's 3rd Avenue crossing and Cochrane Junction. 90 pound rail is being replaced with the more sturdy 115 pound rail leading up to and across a brand new (and wider streetwise) crossing. Here we see Members of an ONR Steel Gang driving spikes while other Crew Members take a little break in the shade of Shed spotted box cars.
