It's been pretty much made official August 2003. Due to the endless problems encountered by the aged 1600 series GP9's in Cochrane Yard, it's been decided that if a second GP9 is available it will be m.u.'d with the GP9 pulling Yard Duty. In the case of a lack of availability of 1600's, the power from the Little Bear or Kap Turn will be used. Here we see Yard Engineman Kirk climbing aboard m.u.'d GP9's 1605 and 1602 at Cochrane August 2003.
