The summer of 2003 proved to be a summer of problems for the historic 1600 series GP9's working Cochrane. I hear typical problems include lousy braking, fumes entering the cab, and an overall lack of power. Immediate solutions pretty much end up as what you see here where the power from either the southbound Little Bear or 514 is immediately drafted into Yard Detail while, in today's case, 1605 is left to idle the afternoon away on the Centre Lead.
