As you can see, the same original ONTA number is applied to this repainted former St. Lawrence Railroad box car, in fact, in the same lettering style! Other former St.LRR cars adopted the ONT 7800 & 7900 series numbering. Politics ruled in November 2001 when this photo was snapped with the added "ONR Not For Sale" decal.
