It's a game of inches in the blistery cold of a December 2005 afternoon along the Side Ramp Track at Cochrane Yard as these Caterpillar 777D Rock Trucks are loaded one at a time onto 62 foot flat cars with the help of two huge hydraulic cranes from nearby Timmins.  As you can see, width and height restrictions meant that all tires and dump boxes had to be removed from the trucks before being loaded. The boxes were removed at North American Construction Group's headquarters in Alberta (the trucks' owners) . After arriving at Cochrane on float trucks, the tires must be removed for the rail leg of their trip.
