We're at Cochrane Yard September 2004 as a northbound "Ditcher" runs into a problem while dumping new ties. A car load of ties has shifted which will require the Maintenance of Way Ditcher Crew to fire up their hi-rail crane to rearrange the load to a safer configuration to allow the train to continue. As you can see, flat car ONT 2094  is a 40 footer which is where the crane sits while the train moves to a new tie drop off point. Once ties need to be dropped off the crane rolls along the flat car decking with the help of ramps between the cars (which can be seen between 2094 and 100327) to access the ties and off-load them to the ground.
