Welcome aboard ONR's former BC Rail Tavern/Lounge Car "Manhattan". This photo was snapped at Cochrane Yard in June 2005 soon after it arrived on a northbound 213 with ONR's
plans for the "Manhattan" to serve as a special Conference Car
during certain trips of this year's Polar Bear Express. This is a
photo of the overall view of the car taken from a small galley which
is complete with fridges & storage. As you can see, directly next to
the galley are a few tables for sit-down dining. The next section is
a lounge area which is excellent for meetings and such (see a photo
of it
HERE ). Next to the lounge area is another small group of 4 seat tables, followed by a semi-private area complete with 2 elaborate sofas (See a photo of it
HERE ).
