In May 2005  five carloads of Noranda bound concentrate which were part of an afternoon 514 derailed at Cochrane Yard while the long, heavy train arrived from Opasatika. The exact location of the derailment  made things that much worse when these heavy loads wound up on the ground cutting off the entire "North Yard". Seen here are the first three derailed cars which did the most damage tearing up the Mainline & burying themselves into the roadbed.
