Is this a snapshot of ONR's recently purchased GP40-2 2200 in the lead position? Technically "yes", but realisticly "no". This photo was snapped on a sunny Saturday afternoon at Cochrane in May 2005 where I catch the southbound 622 "Little Bear" Crew setting off their "Express" & "ATV" cars before hauling the coach consist to the Coach Yard.
Now, the operative word here is "Southbound" and "Saturday". Since Cochrane doesn't have a Saturday Yard detail, 622's Crew are responsible for putting their train away. Since the train is southbound, the Engineman is actually operating from 2200's team mate GP38-2 1804.
