She was built new in 1967 by
Montreal Locomotive Works and
has always called Kapuskasing's
newsprint and saw mill home. Her
"Spruce Falls Power & Paper" I.D.
stayed the same even though the
operation was owned by a few
different companies over the
last 40 or so years such as
Kruger, Kimberly-Clark, and now Tembec. The dependable little
S-13 switcher is still hard at
it in 2015 and is captured at
Kap rounding up some empties for
the newsprint mill March 8th.
