How do you pour concrete at a bridge that doesn't have road access? Easy! Call the concrete company with a hi-rail cement mixer! We're at the crossing located at mile 9 of the Island Falls Subdivision where we see one of these hi-rail cement mixers positioning itself to ride the rails to a bridge project located at mile 11 November 29th. Once the flanged wheels are lined and dropped to the rails, the truck will back up the 2 or so miles to the bridge at a restricted speed of 3 miles per hour.
