A special move was made at Cochrane during the 1600 yard job on July 23rd. Under the watchful eyes of the Manager of Train Services, 2 Car Men, the Yard Crew, and the Yard's Section Foreman, classic T&NO 4-6-0 219 (now owned by the Northern Ontario Railroad Museum & Heritage Centre in Capreol, Ontario) was rolled from North Yard 1, to the Scale Track where it was weighed and will be stored at the south end of the Scale Track. The 219 (which still has a half load of coal in her tender) weighs in at 189150 lbs after her trip to the scales, which works out to 85 tons. A few of the folks involved in the move smile for the camera. From left to right; Guy (Apprentice Car Man), Richard (Yard Clerk), Cody (Yard Crew), and Richard (Section Foreman).
