In the era of the S.B.U., it isn't often you actually get to see a cluster of active cabooses in one section of any yard anywhere. But, alas, here's a shot captured at Cochrane Yard October 7th. From left to right, 124 and 1873 serve as tail end equipment for Ditcher and Work Train movements and are set off for the weekend on Cochrane Yard's Van Siding. Meanwhile 123 has recently returned from an extra trip hauling engines 1804 and 2201 to North Bay and is set off on the Shops Rip Track.
