On August 28th, northbound 515 (Kapuskasing to Hearst) suffered a major derailment involving 9 cars and 2 locomotives. Both locomotives were literally flipped on their sides with luckily only minor injuries to Larry and Gavin, the train's crew. By September 1st, the line is cleared and open with the first tonnage running through that night, everything that could be rerailed has been rerailed (Both units and 4 cars) and are seen here sitting in Parthia siding (Mile 106). Pictured here are the 2 units involved. Not much damage can be seen here since the Engineman's side of both units wound up facing skyward.
