This is a photo captured at the "Beer Store Spur" located just north of Cochrane April 7th, 2006, where ice build-up on the 3rd Street crossing resulted in 421 "Little Bear" lead unit GP38-2 on the ground while departing. Gravity automatically kicks in and begins to send the engine down the steep grade towards the Beer Store until everything stops moving. Luckily, being in the Cautionary Limit, this derailment winds up being more of a hassle rather than a disaster. There were no injuries.
